BlackBerry Storm 2’s Research In Motion began to hit the market this week. Storm 2 brought a change from the first model that a lot of problems.
U.S. operator Verizon Wireless launched the very first BlackBerry Storm this week 2. Like its predecessor, ’storm’ that carry the RIM BlackBerry touch screen.
But unlike the earlier Storm, Storm 2 offers a multitouch feature that allows users to click two keys on the virtual keyboard at the same time.
In addition to the modified touch screen, Storm 2 carrying a built-in Wi-Fi and EV-DO Revision A. Storm 2 also has a global support and allows users to make calls and 3G access abroad.
The phone is equipped with 256MB flash memory and 2GB of memory onboard. The handset is also shipped with a 16GB MicroSD card.
The Storm 2 running BlackBerry OS 5.0. There is a 3.2 megapixel camera and video recorder. The phone comes with BlackBerry Maps.
Feature phone battery is removable, offers a talk time up to 5.5 hours. Batteries were also resistant to 11 days standby.
Storm 2 marketed by the operator Verizon U.S. $ 179.99 after rebate subsidies and U.S. $ 100, in which consumers are expected to get over the lack native BlackBerry Storm.
Previously, the touch screen is not comfortable and software problems caused the first Storm dissatisfied customers.
